For this design challenge, you're tasked with designing a logo for a children's youtube show called Nat'sPicks. "Nat" is short for "Natalie", and it's a fictional show based on a young girl (between age 7-10) who does product reviews on in-demand toys.
And in case you're wondering, yes, I have a 7 year old daughter. However, she does not have a youtube channel and will probably never have one. I just like to think of unique challenges. ;)
Good lucky everyone!
Too much happening here as well, especially with the crown on her head. The "Picks" color is too bright. Simplify things and it becomes better.
Hi Mr Gary,
Here is my entry for this particular challenge. I hope you will like it
That looks like my dad, not my daughter! Haha. Aside from that, I would simplify things here with the symbolism; it's more of an illustration as opposed to a symbolic icon.
Nat coming out from the present box holding a toy (Lego)
Just a tad bit much happening here with the character up top, the center NAT element, and the "picks" at the bottom. A few adjustments (such as including "picks" inside the rectangle and styling it the same) would be a bit better.
I'm a first time entree as well.
Hope you like my work.
Too complex here with the overlapping type, and the font looks sort of cheap and unrefined. The character itself is a little strange and off-putting with the mouth as it is.
This my first entry ever!
I hope you like it!
Generally speaking, vector tracing is a bad idea for logo designs. There's also way too much happening here for it to be a truly effective and memorable logo.
My Second entry
Because i noticed that i was using stroke on eveything
and i scaled it down to 24px X 24px and it was a mess.
i hope its better now
It has potential, but the type in relation to the boldness of the character is too extreme; The font is much too thin and would become unreadable at smaller sizes, and the "SLOGAN" is unreadable even at larger sizes.
My entire, for your beautiful daughter.
i hop you like it.
