This video introduces the concept of call by value vs. call by reference in Java. It first shows the Java memory model and how primitive values are stored on the stack vs. how reference variables are stored on the heap. The stack is a fixed amount of memory and can cause a StackVOverflowError whereas the heap is flexible to certain extent and can cause OutOfMemoryError when you exceed the limit.
